When we think about the future, we often picture technology, artificial intelligence and innovation. Rarely do we think of opera, music or the arts.

Yet I have become convinced that the future cannot be built solely through what we invent, but also through what makes us human.

That is why I am particularly honoured to have been appointed as an Ambassador for Rome Future Week.

Through Opera for Peace, I have had the privilege of witnessing young artists from every corner of the world transcend borders, cultures and differences through one universal language: music. It is a powerful reminder that innovation is not born only in laboratories or start-ups, but also in our ability to create meaningful human connections.
I believe in a future where technology and culture do not evolve separately, but strengthen one another. A future where leadership is shaped by empathy, creativity becomes a catalyst for progress, and cultural diplomacy helps build more open, sustainable and inclusive societies.
Innovation allows us to imagine tomorrow. Culture reminds us why that tomorrow is worth building.
I am deeply grateful to Rome Future Week for this opportunity, and I look forward to contributing to a conversation that embraces the future while remaining rooted in the values that bring us together.
